Fern’s high energy, enthusiasm and authentic ability to connect with people where it counts – when it matters, has effectively raised performance levels in sales, leadership, and internal/external customer service for organizations such as New England Financial, SAFECO, Prudential, NALU (now NAIFA), Shelby Williams, Jones New York, Taco Bell, Cook County Clerk of Courts, Hearst Corporation and Advertising Specialty Institute.
Her business has always been based upon PURPOSE – being part of something bigger than I AM that makes a difference and PASSION – that emotional “stuff” that makes people perform way above and beyond ordinary performance.
She had the highest ratings of any speaker at the New England Financial Career Schools for 20 years for the program she created and delivered for agents and managers - The Pursuit of Excellence.
It has been an honor to serve Financial Planners at local agencies across the country, to speak at NAIFA's Annual Conference, State Conferences in Texas, Illinois, West Virginia & Pennsylvania and Local NAIFA meetings in Buffalo, NY, Philadelphia.
She has been honored as “Woman of the Month” as an advocate to end hunger, featured on PM MAGAZINE and numerous radio talk shows. She has created and conducted dynamic leadership programs for youth – making their lives better through recognizing and building their true personal worth. She was acknowledged by the Illinois House of Representatives and several educational institutions for her volunteer work with students.
Committed to the community and giving back, Fern has also served as a leader in the Chicago Hunger Campaign, the Northern Communities Division of Operation Breadbasket to support the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, and on the Board of Directors of the Make A Wish Foundation (Ohio).
